House Hunters Rerun

If you missed out on the first showing (it’s still, and probably never will be, available online), our episode of House Hunters is scheduled to rerun tomorrow (Friday) night at 9 pm CST. So set your DVR or convince a friend with cable that the best thing to do onΒ  Friday night is have you over and tune into HGTV. You don’t want to miss exciting things like:

Aaron holding a camera!

The firehouse making it’s TV debut! And looking so sad. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come.

Me being very scared of our kitchen… or my awful haircut (since remedied… the kitchen, not so much)

HGTV – Friday at 9. You’re welcome.

  1. I’m the nerd who won’t let my husband delete the episode from the DVR. You know, just in case.

    1. Nice! We still have the original saved AND we got a copy on DVD. You know, so we can loan it out to people πŸ˜‰

  2. It’s online….. But HGTV has it locked down like Fort Knox!?!

    1. Oh really? Where? Can you send me a link?

  3. Saw the episode today. Googled. Do you guys shoot film when covering weddings!?! Had a brief look at the portfolio. Props.

    1. We shoot primarily with digital cameras, but our editing includes adding a film feel. We do offer some film add ons (Polaroids and 3D) and would be willing to go all film for an event if someone wanted something totally outside the box. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I saw your episode + swooned while watching!
    This a.m. I investigated + found you here — I’m glad!
I would love to do just what you’re doing.
    St. Louis rules!

    1. Thanks, Kay!

  5. Wow!! Just watched your episode last night and I can’t believe the progress ya’ll have made. πŸ™‚ I’m really looking forward to following your progress. Keep up the hard work!

    1. Thanks, Christine! Sometimes it feels like we’re moving so slow. It was great to see the space on TV to remember what the studio used to look like. Comments like yours always help too!

  6. Hi Heather, I really loved your episode on House Hunters last night. As soon as I saw the Fire House, I was hoping that would be your choice. How many people can say they live in an old Fire House, right? I’m really hoping House Hunters will come back to you for an edition of “House Hunters, Where Are They Now?” to see all the progress you’ve made. They did it on another St. Louis couple that bought a very cool midcenmod house in Ladue, and showed all the work they put into it. I hope you”ll consider showing your home when you’re finished, if not to HGTV, then maybe with an open house / tour for a small fee, and maybe the proceeds can go to a charity of your choice. I can’t wait to see what you guys do with it, i’ll check back regularly on your page. Also, can you post pics of Aaron’s trailer that he’s working on, that was great, too, and I’m anxious to see his progress on it.

    1. Hi Mikki – Thanks for finding us! We’re glad to hear you were as excited about the firehouse as we were. We have to point out good and bad things on the show, but it was really love at first sight. We’ll certainly keep everyone posted if the House Hunters Where Are They Now crew decides to pay us a visit.
We actually started on the trailer before we knew we’d be moving into a firehouse. Those posts are over on our photography blog. This link will get you right to where you need to go:
Aaron is hoping to finally (FINALLY!) finish it this spring. It’s so close!
      Thanks again!

  7. Found you guys through the House Hunters episode, and though I’m sure someone else has told you by now (though you stated here that it likely would never happen – I’m reading your posts in order cuz I’m insane like that, lol), the show is online right now! On the HGTV website. Don’t know for how long but I was super psyched about it. πŸ™‚ You guys are awesome. I’m so glad you have a blog to showcase the renovations!

    1. Welcome! Yep, we linked to the episode once it was available online. Thanks for the sweet comment!

  8. So, I’m at least a year later to the fun than everyone else…. Amazon prime recently added a couple seasons of House Hunters and I just happened to watch your episode last night. I’m going in order, so I’ve seen a bunch of others already….. I have to say, after watching kind of the same thing over and over (which I really don’t mind, b/c I love looking at houses), your episode was such a breath of fresh air in terms of the kind of spaces you looked at and your aesthetic. I’m not sure anything else could top a frickin’ FIRE HOUSE!!! I was so intrigued by all your plans and projects, and I was very interested to know how things were coming along. Since I knew the show was probably from a couple years ago, I went googling to see if I could find out “where are they now” in terms of your projects. Finding your own blog about it is such a prize! It’s all coming along so amazingly! You guys are doing a fantastic job, and you are so generous to share it with everyone. Keep up the great work, thank you so much for sharing everything, and now I have to go look at ALL the pictures on your entire blog, haha!

    1. Thanks so much, Eliz! Also, thanks for letting us know the episode if out there! We found it on Netflix, but weren’t able to locate it on Amazon Prime. Anyways, I’m so glad you found us!
